This tribute is for Graham Evans, aka Brum, who left us on 1st March 2024.
Born in Solihull, West Midlands on October 19, 1941, Graham was a much loved Husband, Dad, Grandfather & Brother who will be forever remembered for his wicked Naval sense of humour, his kindness, dedication to his family, love of nature and sport, and his beautiful, very special marriage to Val.
Graham passed away in Northwick Park Hospital, Middlesex, after a short illness. Just 3 days before he passed he was living his life to the full, playing his guitar, doing chores for Val, enjoying his dog Nadja and even managing some Indian Club exercises.
Graham would not have wanted those mourning him to spend money on flowers, a very practical man, he would prefer that any donations were made to one of the charities in this tribute web page - including of course 'Zak's Legacy' who provided him and Val with the gift of Nadja, his lovely Rumanian rescue dog. Details attached in 'stories' and if you would like to donate, the details are:
Jacky Buttle and Anita Irwin
Account Number: 43174395 Sort Code: 20-25-28.
Graham will be laid to rest at Greenacres Chilterns in Bucks HP9 2XB, at 1pm on Friday 5th of April.

Happy Fathers Day Dad Missing you very much but thankfully you've left us with some beautiful memories and today I will be raising a glass to toast you for being the best father I could ever have wished for. Thank you for everything, love always Puddin' X
Back in the day, I was a regular visitor to Val and Grahams house and would always try to get out of doing the washing up after eating. Try as I might, under Grahams watchful eye, there was no chance in that happening. It’s quite scary as I regularly catch myself doing the same with my own children and their friends now. Graham often joined us boys when we played 5 a side football or badminton at the leisure centre and my god did he run circles round us. We’d leave the centre red faced and feeling pretty rubbish about ourselves, and it was at this point Karl would remind us that Graham used to be a physical training officer in the navy and even with all of us vs Graham, he’d still bloody win! As a kid there were few better feelings than discovering that your mate’s home was only a few doors down from yours. One that trumped this however, was the realisation his parents were very much family.
My Grandpa was an amazing person. I was so lucky to have him in my life. He will live on through the many stories we all have of his mischievous and loving ways.
